Method:Boiling

1. Formula

  1. 6 cups fresh broccoli florets
  2. 1 (14.5 ounce) can fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
  3. 2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
  4. 1/2 pound VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut up
  5. 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  6. 10 RITZ Crackers, crushed
  7. 2 tablespoons KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese

Please avoid eating too much Fat and Calories to keep fit and lose your weight.

3. Directions

  1. Bring broccoli and broth to boil in medium saucepan on medium-high heat. Stir in rice; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min. Stir in VELVEETA; cover. Let stand 5 min. Stir until VELVEETA is completely melted. Spoon into microwaveable serving bowl; cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate up to 24 hours.
  2. Meanwhile, melt butter in small skillet on medium heat. Add cracker crumbs; cook 2 to 3 min. or until golden brown, stirring frequently. Cool completely. Stir in Parmesan cheese. Spoon into resealable plastic bag; seal bag. Store at room temperature up to 24 hours.
  3. Vent plastic wrap covering broccoli mixture. Microwave on HIGH 5 to 6 min. or until heated through; stir. Sprinkle with cracker crumb mixture. Microwave, uncovered, an additional 2 to 3 min. or until heated through.

4. Remark

This creamy, make-ahead side with a crisp cracker crumb topping tastes just like it came out of the oven. But - surprise - it is made on the stovetop with a quick final zap in the microwave. You will breeze through holiday meal preparations and will delight your guests with the incredible oven-baked flavor!

Prepare as directed, using fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth and VELVEETA Made With 2% Milk Reduced Fat Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product.
