Method:Baking

1. Formula

  1. 4 medium red potatoes, thinly sliced
  2. 1 small onion, thinly sliced, separated into rings
  3. 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  4. 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  5. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  7. 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Carbohydrates: 14 g
  • Dietary Fiber: 6 g
  • Fat: 11 g
  • Protein: 7 g
  • Sugars: 3 g

Please avoid eating too much Fat and Calories to keep fit and lose your weight.

3. Directions

  1. Place half of the potatoes in a greased 2-qt. or 11-in. x 7-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Top with onion and remaining potatoes; drizzle with butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Bake, uncovered, at 450 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown and tender.

4. Remark

These pretty cheese-coated potato slices go very well with lamb chops, and the dish is easy to prepare. It's the first recipe I turn to when I have potatoes and onions ready in the garden.
