Method:Raw

1. Formula

  1. 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  2. 2 teaspoons light-brown sugar
  3. 1 1/2 cups strawberries, hulled and halved, or quartered if large
  4. 1 cup blueberries
  5. 3/4 cup raspberries
  6. 1/2 cup blackberries
  7. 2 teaspoons small mint leaves
  8. 1/4 cup toasted walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped (optional)

  • Calories: 119 kcal
  • Carbohydrates: 18 g
  • Dietary Fiber: 5 g
  • Fat: 5 g
  • Protein: 2 g
  • Sugars: 5 g

3. Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together vinegar and sugar.
  2. Add strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and mint. Toss to combine. Transfer to serving bowls and sprinkle nuts over top if desired.

4. Remark

Balsamic vinegar and brown sugar make a sweet-tart dressing for the berries. Serve as is or, for an extra crunch, with toasted nuts.
